Western Civ 3/20 - lilys review of the cyber week

CYBER WEEK KIND OF SUCKS. I need social interaction. I am not getting that. The only social interaction I get are my parents telling me to do chores. Contradictory to that, I can lay in bed all day. At the same time I kind of want to finish the year like this because I can do work at my own pace it just sucks not being able to hear the lessons or actually retain any information because I'm rushing through stuff to get work done so I can do my own thing. If this goes to the end of the year I might not see any of my senior friends ever again so :(. I also feel bad for them because their senior year will be ruined. My freshman year I couldn't care less about, I don't want to be on the bottom of the food chain anymore. But yeah. I feel like the lessons with all my teachers could be a little better but we are probably all slacking because it's easy to assign work.

Western Civ 4/1 - Greek Theater

There were tragedies - a play where something tragic happens. There were comedies - a play where they usually made fun of common ideas (politics). The only movie I can think of that I recently watched is The Conjuring. I think this movie would be leaning more towards tragedy. The hero of the story would be the mother, who then is too focused on her children instead of herself and gets possessed by a spirit. It wasn't that she was full of pride she was just trying to care for her children. After the possession scene, however, she tries to tell one of the "demonologists" that she was okay, so that may have been a show of pride. She eventually gains her justice because there is an exorcism at the end and the spirit is driven out of her.   This is a theater in Greece. It seems to be pretty well preserved. It is outside and a circular shape and I'm pretty sure I've read before that it's shaped like that so it can project the voices.

Western Civ 6/1 - letter to my future self

I will try to make this as least corny as I can possibly make it, since this type of thing usually is a little corny. I hope you are alive and well, we would not want to die young. Currently, in 2020, there are quite a few things happening. We are in a global pandemic with the virus Covid-19, and there is rioting and looting across the U.S. due to the Black Lives Matter movement. Coronavirus has us out of school and doing online assignments, businesses have been closed for the past 2 months and are just now opening back up (the mall still isn’t open  ). Christiana mall in Delaware was supposed to open today (June 1, 2020) but now is delayed because they don’t want to get looted like another Delaware mall. I spent multiple hours last night watching the rioting, and from what I saw and what was broadcasted on the news this morning, the cops are the reason they become violent.
