Western Civ 4/3 - greek architecture
This is the library of celsus at Ephesus. It was built in 2nd century CE, and is still open today. It was partly destroyed in 262 BC, but repairs were made in the 4th century and they added a fountain along with the repairs. It has many columns and is tall and skinny.
This is a healing temple on the island of Kos in Greece. Asclepions were healing temples located in Ancient Greece dedicated to Asclepius, the first doctor demigod. As you can see, it also has many columns. It also has arches on the front. The arches are actually very supportive.
Excellent choices, Lily. Most people go straight to the Parthenon, but not you!
